TUCKER FOOTBALL LEAGUE (TFL)

HIstory

History

The Tucker Football League (TFL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Georgia corporation. TFL was founded on Christian/Judeo principles to teach our children the wonderful sport of football and cheerleading.  TFL is a private organization that owns all of the land and buildings known today as Fitzgerald Field.

Established in 1955, TFL is widely recognized as one of the most successful youth sports organizations in America.

We are the "unofficial" feeder for many metro-Atlanta public, parochial, and private middle school football and cheerleading programs. Our volunteer coaches focus on building confidence and self-esteem in our children.  We stress to our student-athletes the importance of mastering the basic skills of their sport so they have a solid foundation to advance in life.

As a result, many of our alumni have received full and partial scholarships from NCAA Division I and II schools.  We are proud to have Tucker Lions in the NFL and NBA.

COLORS

Kelly Green, White, and Black have been the traditional colors of the Tucker Lions.
